Out like a lamb

While Lynn is off rebelling in her new Loom Room, I'm only making half-hearted attempts to throw off my chains.  Since part of my work involves an actual contract and a deadline, I can't just cast that project aside.  I can, however, continue to rethink whether or not I'm making good decisions.

See, I've been busy.  And, I now have this to show for it:

That's just under 4oz of 2-ply BFL, spun to be 18/2 yarn.  According to my skein winder (and thank heavens for that thing!), it's just over 1200 yards, which works out to ~5000ypp.  Now I just need to hustle my butt and get it turned into a thing.  But, I think I need to spin up just a bit more "safety yarn" because, well, stuff happens.

And while I'm hustling up that safety yarn, I can get my vest fabric on and off the loom.  I think winding that warp is tomorrow morning's job.  I really, REALLY need to get it done.  I'm just a bit worried about being able to do so.  Then again, if I turn the draft, I can weave with a single shuttle.  And that's way faster.
